The Graduate Attributes Matrix for Employability (GAME) is a unique initiative developed by the University of Bolton to highlight the personal qualities, skills and academic abilities that we value as an institution. These are both in and out of the student’s programme of study. They are unique to every student and encompass what it means to be a graduate of the University, created through meaningful experiences and continuous learning.
This scheme provides a platform for engaging with the world of work, long after students finish their degrees. They act as a point of reference for a student’s personal development and support the articulation of employability and transferable skills. In this context, the following 10 core graduate attributes are embedded in each programme of study and serve as the fundamental skills framework for University of Bolton Manchester students:
