Our neighbours at the Darul Aman Mosque kindly invited us to join them for their Big Iftar on the evening of Saturday 15th March. The Dean, Assistant Director of Studies, Sophie Lownds, and Health and Social Care lecturer, Clare Johnson, joined a large cohort from the local community for a very educational and enjoyable evening. They learned about the tremendous charity and humanitarian work undertaken by the mosque's community and their positive message of peace and love for all. We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at the mosque for a fascinating evening, great food, and for their very warm welcome. Our very best wishes to everyone during the holy month of Ramadan.
