Student Representatives and Committees

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with representing your student voice here at UoBM. In order to continuously improve the student experience, volunteer Student Representatives are selected annually to represent the voice of the student population. If you are interested in becoming a Student Rep, you will need to sign up for the election at the start of the academic year.

Student voice is a critical element in maintaining and improving the student experience here at UoBM. The elected Student Programme Representatives will act as the main conduit for student feedback. They attend the Staff and Student Liaison Committee each trimester, as well as other special events and management boards, and work directly with the Dean and Director of Studies to resolve operational issues. They also play a key role in organising extra-curricular activities.

Why not become a Course Representative and help gather views from fellow students on their programme and experience? We also have School Representatives, nominated from our pool of Course Reps, who sit on the School Board and contribute to university-wide initiatives.

Getting involved as a representative is a fantastic way to shape the student experience and make a real impact on university life.
