Students' Union
Welcome to UoBM Students' Union! If you are a student at UoBM, you are automatically a member. We value every one of our students here and want to ensure students' interests and welfare are fully represented. We are a registered charity, an entirely independent organisation committed to ensuring we meet the needs of our students. Our Student’s Union is part of the National Union of Students (NUS). We work to promote our Student Voice and to ensure that there are opportunities for all students.
There is a Student Union’s Advice Unit available to students throughout their studies. The Advice Unit offers impartial and confidential advice to all students on a wide range of issues such as Appeals, or Mitigating Circumstances, as well as on issues such as money concerns or housing matters.
If you have an issue that you would like to discuss, please contact the SU office to arrange an appointment.
Student Representatives and Committees
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with representing our student voice here at UoBM. In order to continuously improve the student experience, volunteer Student Representatives are selected annually to represent the voice of the student population on key committees. If you are interested in becoming a Student Rep, you will need to sign up for election at the start of the academic year.
Why not become a Course Representative and help gather views from fellow students on their programme and experience? We also have School Representatives who are nominated from our pool of Course reps to sit on our School Board and help out with university-wide matters.
